Jason Story

Senior Sustainability Consultant

Jason Story supports Michigan Sustainable Business Forum as its engagement lead for the Great Lakes Bay region and subject matter expert on food recovery and ingredient upcycling. He splits his time between The Forum, Midland Business Alliance, and ReGrow Midland.

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Jason worked across the hospitality industry throughout the country, leading to his brick & mortar business in 2011. During that time, Jason also worked in post-secondary education, designing and implementing workforce development programming. Jason has spent over five years, and 10,000 hours of teaching experience – including a lecture series with the Smithsonian Institute. His work has been featured in the Washington Post, Washingtonian, and Washington City Paper.

Since moving to Midland, Jason has supported the teams at the Midland Country Club, ReGrow Midland, ReGrow Together and the Midland Business Alliance. Jason participated in Leadership Midland 2022. Jason holds degrees in psychology, organizational leadership, and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in business administration with Northwood University.
