Bill Stough (2014)

Bill Stough is founder and president of consulting firm Sustainable Research Group.  Stough has worked for over 25 years on environmental and sustainable business issues in a variety of capacities.  He is widely cited as one of the early initiators of the sustainable business movement.  As a board member of the West Michgan Environmental Action Council at the time, Bill was one of the central figures in the founding of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum in 1994, and continues to help found and facilitate the development of similar organizations in other regions.

Stough is also the lead technical consultant on the BIFMA Sustainable Furniture Standard, a project manager for the West Michigan Sustainable Manufacturing Initiative, and has served as the Executive Director of the Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum.  He has also served as an adjunct instructor in Sustainable Business Practices at Aquinas College. Stough has also served as the also served as the Executive Director of the Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum.
