Sustainable Events Working Group
The Sustainable Events Working Group involves event planners, vendors, and sustainability professionals working to integrate sustainability into their planning and execution. Members collaborate on sustainability practices from waste reduction to resource management, event equity and responsible purchasing for events, and other initiatives. The group connects event personnel to helpful resources to improve the process of integrating environmental and social responsibility issues into event planning across the state of Michigan.
