Lakeshore Sustainability Happy Hour
West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds will discuss the importance of protecting local watersheds and the Great Lakes at a Green Drinks event on Wednesday, March 13 for local business leaders, municipal partners, and those residing in the Grand River watershed.
Non-point source pollution is the most common threat to water quality in the region and state, a key concern of local watersheds, sustainable business practitioners and regulators. Rainscaping is a method of watershed restoration that promotes green infrastructure by managing stormwater as close as possible to where it falls, the most effective means for the private sector to voluntarily address water pollution in their communities.
