Revolution Farms

Greenhouse Grown. Local. Nutrient Dense.

Revolution Farms is leading the hydroponics revolution in Michigan with one of the largest and most advanced indoor hydroponic farms in the United States. Located in Caledonia, its one acre greenhouse produces fresh, local lettuce and salad greens for consumers across the Midwest, using 90 percent less water, 90 percent less land and 90 percent less food miles than traditional farming. Revolution Farms was founded to leverage the social, economic, and environmental benefits of hydroponics in a state-of-the-art facility, here in West Michigan.

The founders of Revolution Farms started their innovative greenhouse here in West Michigan because they live here and love their community. The farm has pledged to donate at least one percent of all lettuce grown here to neighbors in need, and works with Feeding America West Michigan to deliver on that promise. To further support the community and ensure that nothing is going into the landfills, the farm also donates any other unusable lettuce and plant roots to a local farmer, who feeds it to his cattle and pigs.
