General Manager, Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC)

RRRASOC Mike has dedicated his career to serving communities and advancing sustainable solutions. A lifelong Michigan resident, except for four years serving in the U.S. Army Infantry, Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint. He began his professional journey as a municipal planner for the City of Novi, where he spent four years focusing on urban development and community planning.

Since 1994, Mike has served as the General Manager of RRRASOC, where he has spent three decades developing, managing, and promoting innovative solid waste programs and policies. His work spans a wide range of stakeholders, including residents, private sector leaders, and elected and appointed officials at the federal, state, county, and local levels. Known for his collaborative approach, Mike has built a reputation for creating impactful programs that prioritize environmental sustainability and community service.

Mike’s unwavering commitment to service and his expertise in sustainable resource management continue to shape stronger, more resilient communities.
