Roger Cargill has been involved in the recycling and waste industry in Michigan for 36 years with a focus on public space recycling, higher education programs and food scrap management. Cargill is the President of FinitePhoenix LLC where he promotes on-site management of organics which results in reducing the food miles impact caused by the current collection of food scraps.

Cargill was previously the Recycling Manager for Michigan State University where he managed the waste and recycling program for the Big Ten university; and the director and innovator of Schupan Recycling’s Sustainability Services where he managed events and provided service to over 30 million attendees collecting a million pounds of recycled material that would have ended up in the landfill.
