Aquinas College
Your Future Starts Here
Aquinas College, an inclusive educational community rooted in the Catholic Dominican tradition, provides a liberal arts education with a global perspective, emphasizes career preparation focused on leadership and service to others, and fosters a commitment to lifelong learning dedicated to the pursuit of truth and the common good.
The Center for Sustainability is also committed to encouraging the development of sustainable life skills through programs like the Zero-Waste Initiative and the Urban Forest Initiative. The Zero Waste Initiative is in place not only to educate people on the importance of finding correct modern waste streams, but also how to use them. The Urban Forest Initiative aims to provide a structure, funding, support, and plan to better manage our Aquinas College campus forest. It is a distinctive feature of our campus and broader community that helps attracts students and should be managed as an asset. This initiative has several components for both the short and long term, including the implementation of a 10-year forest stewardship plan.
