Kristen Trovillion

Principal Sustainability Analyst, Consumers Energy

Kristen joined Consumers Energy in 2020 and currently holds the role of Principal Sustainability Analyst. In this role, Kristen works across business units to analyze sustainability data and lead the implementation of strategic sustainability initiatives and disclosures. Most recently, Kristen has focused her efforts on standing up the company’s sustainable supply chain program and energy and environmental justice initiatives. She also monitors and evaluates the company’s ESG performance and leads the preparation of several sustainability-related disclosures. 

Prior to joining Consumers Energy, Kristen worked as the Sustainability Manager for Grand Rapids Public Schools, working to reduce the environmental impact of district operations and to integrate sustainability into the classroom. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Alma College and a Masters of Public Affairs in Energy Policy from Indiana University – School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

Kristen lives in the Grand Rapids area with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in northern Michigan, kayaking, and tackling DIY projects.
