Eric Van Dellen (2016)

Eric Van Dellen is responsible for managing global sustainability programs at Amway including metrics, energy, and water conservation. In addition, he supports real estate transactions and tax incentives, and global insurance coverage for the corporation.   Prior to that position, he managed Environment, Health & Product Safety, with responsibilities for environmental and occupational health compliance, auditing, remediation, and toxicology. He has published in the fields of microbiology, nutritional analysis, drinking water treatment, and environmental toxicology.

His early career at Amway included group leader positions in nutritional analysis and microbiology labs. Eric is the past Chairman of the Environmental Quality and Energy Committee for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, twice the past board president of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and an active member of the American Cleaning Institute’s Sustainability Committee. He received his BA and MA in chemistry from Western Kentucky University, and attended school on an athletic scholarship.
