Steven H. Dahlquist, Ph.D.
Central Michigan University, Assistant Professor of Marketing

Steve Dahlquist is an Assistant Professor in Central Michigan University’s College of Business Administration, where he teaches courses in Sales Management, Managerial Marketing, and International Marketing. Previous to joining CMU, he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in New Product Development, Internet Marketing, Sports Marketing, Quantitative Business Research, and International Business. He holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University, a M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University, and a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. His research focuses on firm level marketing strategy, and includes interfirm collaboration, governance, and sustainable marketing. His journal publications include the Journal of Marketing and the International Business Review, and he is a Doctoral Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Business Marketing (ISBM) at the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University. Steve also possesses significant industry experience, having been a senior executive and manager in a number of multi-national firms and industries. Prior to his business career, Steve was a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy and served in maritime operations in Pacific Ocean, South China Sea, Indian Ocean, and Persian Gulf.
