Steve Teitsma is a Civil Engineer with Progressive AE. Progressive AE is a full-service architectural and engineering firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and practicing throughout the United States. In 2012, Progressive AE merged with Design Plus to form one of West Michigan’s largest full-service design firms. This entity brings together nearly 85 years of experience and more than 150 full-time professionals. Progressive AE and its affiliates operate as a corporation registered in Michigan and other states, while architects and engineers are registered in 48 states.

Steve is licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer and has obtained LEED AP status. Through his work at Progressive AE, Steve designs building sites to achieve LEED certified status. Steve has been active in the WMSBF for over 3 years and is passionate about the role the forum plays to help member organizations achieve their sustainability goals.
Steve has been a WMSBF Board members since 2012, and is currently serving as the WMSBF Board of Directors Immediate Past President.
