West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum named Aquinas College its 2016 West Michigan Sustainable Business at the Third Annual Triple Bottom Line Bash.
Sustainable practices are a part of all of Aquinas’s operations and programming, including the Sustainable Business program, which was the first undergraduate program of its kind in the U.S. in 2003. With six LEED certified buildings by the U.S. Green Building Council, Aquinas has helped to earn Grand Rapids the distinction of “America’s Greenest City.”
Other honorees at the event included Steelcase, which received the Champion Award, Barfly Ventures, which received the Change Agent Award, Future Hall of Fame Award Winner Eric Saigeon, and Hall of Fame Inductees Guy Bazzani, Deb Steketee, and Gayle DeBruyn.
Our honorees celebrated their accomplishments and the work of the forum with 180 sustainable business practitioners and their guests at the Triple Bottom Line Bash. For photos visit our Facebook page.
