WMSBF Hiring Summer Interns

The Solid Waste & Recycling Research Intern will support the Michigan MSW Characterization and Value Study, a project funded by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality to determine the value of recyclable and compostable materials currently being disposed of in Michigan landfills and incinerators.  Intern will also support and potentially lead projects to promote recycling and composting initiatives in the region and state, an opportunity to work with leading recycling and composting firms, top-level consultants, regulators and academic partners.  Internship includes a substantial amount of field work.  Some travel required.

We are hiring a total of six interns for a early summer.  Compensation is $2,500.  One intern will be retained for an additional month.
