Aug. 5: Green your Lunch with Geothermal Heating and Cooling

Interested in learning more about geothermal heating and cooling? Join the West Michigan chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council for the Green Your Lunch Program this Tuesday.

Geothermal ground source heat pump systems tap into the stored energy of the Earth to provide heating, cooling, and hot water generation for residential and commercial buildings. The presentation will cover a brief introduction to geothermal, the types of installations and how using geothermal to not just save green but go green.

Kortney Lull of Midwest Geothermal will present the program. Midwest Geothermal is one of the largest installers of geothermal systems in the Midwest, located in Grand Rapids, MI.

The program will run from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr and Huber at 1515 Arboretum Drive SE in Grand Rapids.  The program is free to members of the West Michigan chapter of the USGBC, $5 for nonmembers.
